The Swahili greeting “Karibo” opens your journey to Zanzibar. Welcome to the tropical paradise of East Africa. Zanzibar is an island located on the coast of Tanzania and is part of a chain of islands including the Pemba Islands and a number of small islands. Together these islands create a true paradise for surfers.
The beaches of Zanzibar are considered to be amongst the world’s most beautiful beaches, with turquoise water, white sands and a host of beautiful and rare sea creatures that decorate the island like valuable jewelry.
The flight from Israel to Zanzibar is direct to Dar es Salaam, followed by a short flight to Sutton Town, the capital of the island. The city boasts colorful markets, tattooed seafarers and the smell of fresh fish – exotica at its best.
After a visit to Sutton Town, the trip continues to Pajeh, the surfing spot of Zanzibar.
Our workshops include surfing both in the well known spots and in special and secret and spots that we have found for you (of course, after we sign you to secrecy). At the end of the day, we will at the Blue Sea Hotel, a dreamy chalet hotel overlooking the central surfing beach.
The beach is a lagoon of 800 meters into the sea up to the breakwater line, allowing for great learning for beginners and ideal for Flat Water lovers. Beyond the lagoon the sea and it’s waves awaits the kite surfers.
