Extreme Travels was established in 2010 as an answer to the growing demand in kitesurfing as a leading extreme sport in the world.

The Assa brothers have come up with the innovative concept of L.O.S (Learning on Spot) that combines surfing workshops on location in the best surfing spots in the world, experiencing the local vibe and enjoying a sports holiday. The workshops are devised in line with IKO, the world kite surfing organizaiton regulations.

Oria Assa, Founder and Owner, Top Israeli kitesurfer who participated in many of the PKRA competitions. A multi discipline waterman with vast experience and a Certified Fitness Instructor.

Eviatar Assa, Founder, Co-owner, and also Oria’s brother. Head of the extreme school with years of experience both as a kite instructor and as a manager. Also a Certified Fitness Instructor and an experienced multi-discipline surfer.

The Workshop

The workshop offers an opportunity to enjoy a full in depth exploration of the location’s geography, history, social and culinary tastes, while offering a professional surfing workshop with a deep emphasise on learning proper surfing technics right from the beginning.

The multi layered program involves personal training, safety regulations for the surfer and his surroundings. This generates an intense and demanding learning curve that edges the surfer forward towards acquiring proper surfing skills and developing his own technique and surfing style in a safe and fast way.

Extreme Travels believes in the moto: in the water all are equal, and offers special workshops for handicapped who wish to fulfil their dream and desire to be in the water and surf. This is done by  using suitable equipment for that exact purpose.
